Vintage Strength Training, the popular online training community that uses vintage fitness tools, is hosting a series of challenges throughout the month of May.
Online PR News – 17-May-2019 – Los Angeles, CA – Vintage Strength Training presents movements in lifting performed hundreds of years ago using thick grip dumbbells, barbells with Kettlebells, Clubs and Mace. Their website first launched in late March. Since then they have gained a following on both Facebook and Instagram where they provide workouts, inspiration, and how-to videos for those in the fitness community interested in gaining strength by using vintage tools.
"We're excited to be hosting challenges all this month," says owner, kettlebell sport champion Valerie Pawlowski. "We have dubbed May the month of mace, and we have some great prizes for the winners."
They have already hosted two of the four challenges. The challenge one winners, Victoria Islas and Scott Wong, did the most number of consecutive 360 swings in four minutes. Challenge two has competitors do a mace launch from a dead start into single 360 mace swing for three minutes. The winners have yet to be announced.
There are still two challenges left during the month of May. Winners will receive the newly designed Vintage Strength Training t-shirts. For updates on challenges and entry submission information, visit their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VintageStrengthTraining/.
