Reno Locals Launch Bus Line to Vegas, Phoenix
05/15/2019

Inland Streamliner, a bus line between Reno and Phoenix, launched the only direct service via Las Vegas this week.

Online PR News – 15-May-2019 – Reno, NV – Founded by Reno locals, a new direct bus line from Reno to Las Vegas and Phoenix launched ticket sales this week.

Inland Streamliner wants to fill the void left in Nevada after Silverado Stages shut down in late 2018. Silverado operated a route from Reno to Las Vegas on US Highway 95 via Tonopah. Its demise left no regular service between Nevada's largest cities. High debt, low revenue, and reliance on subsides led to Silverado declaring bankruptcy on October 5, 2018.

Founded by scheduler John Wang and Air Force veteran Bob Brown, Inland Streamliner says they'll do better by cutting unpopular stops and extending the route to Phoenix. They're also increasing legroom to make travel more comfortable, hoping to attract seniors and families.

"We're thrilled to be the only direct service from Reno to Phoenix via Las Vegas," Wang said, "With the quickest schedules and best legroom in Nevada, passengers will find comfort at every seat. Also, only Streamliner offers Door-to-Door Service to Phoenix for a small surcharge."

"Taxpayer money doesn't make or break quality service," Brown added, alluding to Silverado's failure, "Contrary to popular belief, Greyhound never did this route, so it's our job to get it done right."

Streamliners will travel on a regular schedule, stopping at:
• Reno, NV
• Tonopah, NV
• Las Vegas, NV
• Boulder City, NV
• Wickenburg, AZ
• Surprise, AZ
• Phoenix, AZ
• Mesa, AZ

Passengers for points south may also board at flag stops in Fernley and Fallon.

Tickets are available online in advance at www.streamlinerlines.com. Due to reduced seating from increased legroom, Streamliner recommends booking as far in advance as possible.
