Online PR News – 02-May-2019 – Toronto, Ontario – Two HAB Press titles have been named among the finalists for the inaugural National Magazine Awards: B2B.
Canadian Lawyer secured nominations for Best Feature Article: Professional for "Opening our offices: The rise of open concept" and Best Cover for its Workplace issue. Law Times was shortlisted for Best Series of Articles for its coverage of the Ryerson law school proposal.
In total just 34 publications were selected as finalists following a rigorous judging process, a clear indication that Canadian Lawyer and Law Times are both at the very forefront of B2B publishing in Canada.
Canadian Lawyer and Law Times are among the publications acquired in April from Thomson Reuters Media Solutions. HAB Press will be making further announcements and updates in coming months as it looks at ways to position the products for sustainable success.
President for North America and UK Tim Duce congratulated the team on their success.
"We are proud of the outstanding staff who have achieved such high editorial standards for these titles. This national recognition is well deserved," he said.
"We are excited to be working with this talented team as we look at ways to take these products to the next level."
Winners of the NMA:B2B awards will be announced at a formal luncheon on May 29 in Toronto.
