Cynthia Ruiz, founder of Work Stressless, knows mindful communication is key to working with less stress. She offers programs in Austin to enhance wellness.

Ruiz's goal is to help individuals and employees understand how to manage their reactions and regulate their emotions by learning and practicing mindfulness strategies that address their specific needs.

As a former high school teacher, Ruiz initially noticed a need for mindfulness resources after seeing her students and fellow teachers struggle with handling stress and trauma. She began studying the positive impacts of mindfulness practice after attending a Social Emotional Learning/Mindfulness session hosted by AISD. After applying her research to her life, she also decided to earn her 200 hour yoga teacher certification to learn more about how movement and meditation impact your mindset. Realizing that connecting with others on a human to human level was her passion, she started Work Stressless to help pass on what she has learned to others.
