Recording Artist Jay D Luis Releases New Smooth Jazz CD "Musical Density

New release features legendary funk and jazz sax player Jacque Harenberg

Online PR News – 28-April-2019 – Dayton, Ohio – Midwest bassist, guitarist, session artist and performer Jay D Luis joins forces with legendary funk and jazz sax player Jacque Harenberg to release his latest album "Musical Density." For two musicians, Jay and Jacque create a lot of music in this 3-song CD, weaving a wide range of world music, genres, rhythms and melodies.

"I've been wanting to create an acoustic guitar-based album with saxophone for a long time," says Jay D Luis. "I met Jacque a number of years back in a studio session and we discussed the idea of collaborating on a project one day. I originally composed the rhythmic ideas and movements for the songs on Musical Density and soon realized I needed saxophone as the melodic voice to the music. The rest is history. My collaboration with Jacque created a fusion of smooth jazz, gypsy jazz, flamenco, blues, progressive rock, funk and world music. I hope you enjoy this CD and the Musical Density experience."

Songs include:
• Parisian Dreams -- get transported back to the streets of Paris when gypsy jazz was taking the music world by storm.
• Mr. Majestic -- enjoy a musical journey with flamenco, rock and funk as guitar, bass and sax create infectious grooves and melodies that leave you wanting more.
• Bahama Mama -- take a mental hiatus in the Caribbean and soak in a sea of guitar and sax music as it bathes you in this soulful reggae tune.

Musical Density is available for download at CD Baby, Apple iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Rhapsody, Sound Exchange and other on-line music stores. To learn more about Jay D Luis and his music, visit:
