Barbary Insurance Brokerage's Jerry Becerra recognized as industry top performer

Jerry Becerra has made this year's Insurance Business America Top Producers list.

Online PR News – 23-March-2019 – Denver, CO – A San Francisco insurance professional has just been recognized in a prestigious list of the industry's top performers.

Barbary Insurance Brokerage's Jerry Becerra has been included in Insurance Business magazine's annual Top Producers report, recognizing 65 producers who have achieved impressive results over the past year.

To qualify as a Top Producer, applicants had to achieve at least $750,000 in commission revenue in 2018 with at least 50% commercial P&C business and be able to demonstrate year-over-year growth.

"The 2019 Top Producers collectively earned $32.4 million in commission revenue in 2018, which is a fantastic achievement," says Insurance Business journalist Heather Turner. "In this year's report they share the keys to their success and the strategies they employed to generate such impressive numbers over the past year."

Following a long career in insurance, Becerra formed Barbary Insurance Brokerage in 2006 with the goal of creating an agency engaged in the local community that could serve as a reliable resource for advice and insurance products.

"There are a lot of things that work for generating business, but the real secret is hard work and consistency," Becerra says. "However, if I had to give one piece of advice, it's to be an active member in your community. We sell a promise to help in tough times, and the best way to prove you will be there then is to be there now."
