Family Friendly Wrestling - fun for all ages

Online PR News – 20-March-2019 – Edinburgh, Scotland – On Saturday 25th May 2019 at the Crags Community Sports Centre in Bowmont Street, Edinburgh. A superb evening of Family friendly Wrestling is being hosted.

Sit back and enjoy some good family entertainment.

The aim is to raise vital funds for the following Scottish based charities:

Epilepsy Scotland
Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home
Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity

Two local businesses, Crafty Connoisseur and URM8 are joining forces and have enlisted the services of one of Scotland's top wrestling promotion companies, Wrestling Experience Scotland.

The event is open to all ages and gives fans the chance to see some of Scotland's top wrestling talent in action, up close and personal.

Steve McKenzie, Managing Director of Crafty Connoisseur said "we always like to try and help local charities and wanted to create an event that would benefit more than one. Scotland has so much talent out there and wrestling is a great way for the whole family to enjoy a night out, it made sense to try and bring an event to Edinburgh that could be used to help charities."

When asked about the reason for choosing the Crag's Community Sports Centre as a venue for the event, he added
"We chose the Crags Centre because it was very central and we wanted everyone to have easy access to the event. Also, as a Community Centre it seemed to fit with the event as this is something that families in all communities can come along to and enjoy."

In a bid to ensure that 100% of the ticket money goes to these good causes, the organisers are looking for businesses who will help them achieve this through sponsorship/donation.

David Arthur, Director of URM8 said, "In return for a financial contribution towards the running costs. Every time we promote the event we would highlight our supporters. This will be done via all our social media channels, on the night by way of putting out any business advertising provided by the sponsors, by our master of ceremonies on the night and any other promotional work we carry out between now and 25th May."

There has already been considerable interest in the event from families who have never been to a wrestling event. Most fans have only seen wrestlers in action on TV via WWE and most recently World of Sport Wrestling on ITV.
Now there is the chance to be even closer to the action and possibly meet the wrestling stars in person.

Tickets will be going on sale via Eventbrite on Monday 18th March and any business owner interested in sponsorship of the event should contact either David or Steve directly.
