Online PR News – 22-February-2019 – Toronto, Ontario – MEDIA RELEASE: Local insurance professional recognized as rising star
INTECH Risk Management's Tyler Townsend has been recognized among Canada's future insurance leaders in Insurance Business magazine's annual Young Guns report. The latest report features 35 rising stars aged 35 and under who are making an impact in the industry early in their careers.
Since joining INTECH Risk Management in 2017, Townsend has quickly risen to the role of director of risk and insurance services. Along with his team, Townsend makes risk management accessible to organizations that typically don't have the resources to employ a full-time risk manager or might not have the expertise in certain aspects of insurance. By demonstrating the value of effective risk management to the business community, Townsend is helping to advance the profession.
"While many millennials are still in the early stages of their careers, they are quickly becoming the faces of a more modern insurance industry," says Insurance Business journalist Heather Turner. "Whether they're driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, the desire to innovate or a simply motivated to help fellow Canadians protect what they hold most dear, the 35 Young Guns are proving age is just a number when it comes to having insurance know-how."
