LGBTQ dramedy selected for Pilot Competition at SXSW Film Festival 2019

After receiving a ton of buzz in the media and wins at film festivals all over the world, the Queering's pilot has made it's way to SXSW 2019 in Austin, Texas!

Online PR News – 20-February-2019 – Austin – "Queering" is an LGBTQ web series that follows Harper (Sophia Grasso), who is ready to live the best phase of her lesbian life until the tables turn when her mom, Val (Susan Gallagher) unexpectedly comes out as queer. The pilot episode has been officially selected for the Episodic Competition at SXSW 2019 - screenings are March 10th at 11:00am at the Alamo Lamar & March 13th at 2:30pm at Rollins Theater at the Long Center. This quirky and hilarious, dramedic series sheds a light on issues without being too serious. Director and creator Leticia De Bortoli told she wrote Queering because she thinks "it's more impactful to have people reflect on complicated issues while they are laughing." Queering has been nominated and won at festivals all over the world including Rio WebFest, International Online Web Fest, Short to the Point International Film Festival and now SXSW. Leticia De Bortoli won the IOWF award for Best Director for her work on Queering.

Stars Susan Gallagher, Sophia Grasso and Diana Oh give dynamic performances in this series and received noms at Rio WebFest and IOFW for best ensemble. Diana Oh has been named one of the top 14 LGBTQ infulencers by Refinery29. Television veteran Susan Gallagher and newbie Sophia Grasso were both nominated for their performances at Rio WebFest and IOWF.
