Joan Groleau Honored for Third Consecutive Year for Dedication to Channel Partner Community and Strategies for Driving Future Growth and Innovation
Online PR News – 12-February-2019 – BURLINGTON, Mass. – Joan Groleau, Director, North America Channel at Ipswitch®, producer of award-winning and easy-to-use secure file transfer and network management software, has been named to the prestigious list of 2019 Channel Chiefs by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, for the third consecutive year. The top IT channel leaders included on this list continually strive to drive growth and revenue in their organization through their channel partners.
"The individuals on CRN's 2019 Channel Chiefs list deserve special recognition for their contribution and support in the development of robust partner programs, innovative business strategies, and significant influence to the overall health of the IT channel," said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. "We applaud each Channel Chief's remarkable record of accomplishments and look forward to following their continued success."
Each of the 2019 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision and commitment to their channel partner programs. Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN's editorial staff as a result of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation.
For nearly four years, Groleau has overseen Ipswitch's North American channel to ensure that all components of the program are aligned to help organizations' IT teams to successfully navigate the complex IT environment, including industry and government data security, compliance and regulatory requirements. She implemented a program built on a micro-training curriculum where each concept is broken down into small segments, resulting in tripling partner participation. Under her leadership in 2018, the channel has increased new partners across key industry segments by 15 percent and increased in new business opportunities for partners by 11 percent.
"We continue to invest in the channel as a critical route to market, and the health of the Ipswitch channel is excellent," said Groleau. "As we advise the channel that now is the time for customers to ensure secure data sharing and high-performance infrastructures in order to respond faster to business demands, we are continuously collaborating with our partners to provide the right tools for their success. I am delighted to represent Ipswitch among the 2019 CRN Channel Chief honorees in support of the IT channel. "
Groleau was recognized as one of CRN's 2018 Women of the Channel for the third consecutive year and a CRN Channel Chief in 2017 and 2018.
