Darren Lanthier to join firm as Health, Safety, and Environment Regional Director
Online PR News – 11-January-2019 – Baton Rouge, LA – Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Lanthier as Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Regional Director. With extensive expertise in the Gulf Coast petrochemical and natural gas transportation industries , Darren will assist clients with regulatory permitting, compliance assurance, compliance reporting, emergency preparedness, risk analysis and HSSE policy and procedure development.
Darren has successfully filled roles in the government sector as well as in private industry, With nearly 20 years of expertise in process safety management, air, waste, and water quality compliance, Mr. Lanthier has a thorough understanding of how environmental, health and safety regulations/requirements apply to and impact operations, maintenance, and construction in the various refining, manufacturing and oil and gas transportation industries. He has broad experience with regulations and regulatory processes at the agency level, management level and field implementation level. A graduate of McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA, Mr. Lanthier holds a BS in Wildlife Management. Mr. Lanthier's experience has prepared him for substantial roles, most recently serving as the HSSE Manager for North Americas largest methanol production facility.
