Dr. Shaun Carpenter, CEO of MedCentris, appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Tulane University School of Medicine, 2018-2019 academic year.

Online PR News – 21-December-2018 – Hammond, LA – Dr. Shaun Carpenter, Chief Executive Officer of MedCentris, was recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Tulane University School of Medicine Department of Surgery, 2018-2019 academic year. Dr. Carpenter is a nationally recognized expert in the specialty of Wound Medicine. He leads a team of over 40 wound specialist physicians and nurse practitioners throughout the southeast region of the United States. Dr. Carpenter has developed several patents for innovative wound healing devices and has authored multiple publications regarding the science of wound healing. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Certified Wound Specialist. Dr. Carpenter has double Bachelors' Degrees in Molecular/Cell Biology and English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans ("Charity Hospital") and has been in practice for over 15 years.
