Tristan Jehan, Co-founder of The Echo Nest, will be among the honored guests at TechnoArt LIVE 2018 that is taking place on November 15th at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
Tristan founded The Echo Nest together with Brian Whitman as the leading music intelligence and data platform for developers and media companies.
The Echo Nest was purchased by Spotify in March 2014 to understand audiences' listening preferences, and is considered the leading recommendation engine of music content.
Tristan will be working with the TechnoArt team, as a part of its international business development and M&A activity, to identify technology companies relevant to Spotify.
TechnoArt is proud to announce that Tristan Jehan will be among the honored guests at TechnoArt LIVE 2018, that is taking place on November 15th at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
Tristan holds a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences from MIT. He became Director of Research after selling The Echo Nest to Spotify in 2014. He now focuses on research and innovation at Spotify, as well as on investing in various startups in the media and entertainment space.
Tristan will be joining the TechnoArt team as they work to identify startups that could be relevant to Spotify. Selected ventures will have the opportunity to meet Tristan prior to TechnoArt LIVE 2018.
TechnoArt business development division, which focuses on connecting Israeli companies in the media space with top tier international companies such as Spotify, including music, video, AR / VR, and wearable technology, will start the selection process October 15th.
