Online PR News – 25-October-2018 – Toronto – Breakthrough in Dementia Research and Care
Event Name: 2nd International Conference on Dementia and Dementia Care (Dementia 2019)
Theme: Breakthrough in Dementia Research and Care
Aim and Scope: Dementia is an umbrella term used to describe a set of symptoms that occur when the brain is affected by disease. There's currently no cure and no treatment that slows or stops its progression, but there are things you can do to help reduce the risk of getting it. The proportion of Canadians living with Alzheimer disease and related dementias is rising day by day. By 2031 it is estimated that the number will increase to 937,000 (see Table) of which the percentage for women will be 65 percent. So we are organizing this time in Toronto, Canada in order to emphasize on dementia treatment, prevention and most importantly dementia care so that persons with dementia can seek medical attention early. We hope you will join us at Dementia Conference 2019 and make this event fruitful.
