Dave Masterson brings extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering to the firm.

Online PR News – 20-September-2018 – St. Louis, MO – St. Louis, MO. - September 19, 2018 -Shelter Works is pleased to announce that Mr. Dave Masterson has been appointed as General Manager and commenced his position on September 17, 2018. Masterson will take on leadership of the Missouri-based company, specialized in the design and manufacturing of fiberglass equipment shelters, enclosures and pre-fabricated buildings.

Masterson has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing strategies and initiatives for growth; leading business development efforts, business process improvements, and operational enhancements in multi-site domestic and international businesses. He also has hands on experience with cultural and lean transformations, acquisitions, consolidations, and production start-ups.

Masterson's most recent position was as General Manager for Shaw Development's Dixon Pump Division, serving clients in the oil and gas, fuels and lubes, chemical, and other industrial markets. Prior to that, Masterson was employed as General Manager for Metaltek's SMCI Division, a large multi-facility metal fabricator, focused on aerospace, defense, nuclear, and power generation markets.

Masterson holds his M.B.A. from Webster University and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is a Certified Master Black Belt, subject matter expert, and trainer in Strategy Deployment, Lean, Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Sales-Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), and Mixed Model Material Replenishment.
