Online PR News – 27-February-2011 – – On March 2 take a photo of yourself hugging your loved one and email it with your contact information by March 9 to info@michellesangels.com As Michelle’s Angels celebrates its 3rd Annual Gentlemen . . . Hug Your Bride’s Day, your photo may be selected to be featured on the Michelle’s Angels’ website as a tribute to your love for one another.

At the 2008 memorial service for his wife, Michelle Renee Knoll, held in Nashville, Tennessee, Herb Knoll lovingly remembered Michelle – whom he always referred to as “my bride.” In his eulogy, Knoll encouraged the husbands in the church not to take for granted the presence of their wives by doing the one thing he could no longer do. “Gentlemen . . . hug your brides,” Knoll said. On March 2 loved ones are asked to stop for a few moments and hug one another. In addition to entering the photo contest, couples are encouraged to post the photo of their hug on their Facebook pages along with a link to the Michelle’s Angels website www.michellesangels.com.

The health struggles of Knoll became well documented in her adopted community of Nashville. Singer songwriters and musical artists, known as angel artists, have gifted their music to the not-for-profit organization’s website. The virtual prayer community is available to people suffering. They need to know someone cares. Michelle’s Angels, now has hundreds of posted prayer requests and thousands of people – mostly strangers from around the world and every religious denomination – actively praying for strength, comfort and relief for those in need.

“This day is intended to remind all husbands who are still able to – to hug their brides. And never take their bride for granted,” said Herb Knoll, MAF president. “By using social media to post the photos of the hugs on Facebook, we have the chance to virally spread the message about the good work the organization is doing for people facing challenges.”
