Movimento Inc. today announced that it has named Justin Schroeder its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Schroeder most recently served as Vice President, Global Product Management for Movimento where, among other duties, he led global product development for diagnostic hardware and software interface requirements. Schroeder brings to the CTO role a detailed technical background in successful management of wide-ranging vehicle diagnostic activities. According to Movimento CEO, Benjamin Hoffman, Schroeder is responsible for research and development activities for Movimento, as well as the oversight of the technical organization globally.
"Justin brings uncommon knowledge, enthusiasm and drive, and, a unique set of interdisciplinary skills which will form the core of technology for our products today and tomorrow," said Hoffman. "He has the exceptional combination of an inquisitive mind, natural leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills."
Previously, Schroeder was Supervisor, Module Configuration and Programming at Ford Motor Company, where he was responsible for all module configuration and software updates performed in the dealerships for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda. Before that, he held both management and technical positions for Jaguar and Land Rover in Coventry, United Kingdom.
Movimento’s key customers include automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and heavy-duty and off-highway diesel OEMs and suppliers. Its flagship product — Puma PDI — changes the way OEMs deal with increased electrical hardware and software complexity throughout the product life cycle.
