A field of 146 poker players participated in the € 290,000 Euro Finals of Poker 2011 Gold Championship and 12 survivors made it to the third and last round.

At the start of the round, Pierre Milan was the chip leader with his 651,500 chips while the young Parisian Ilan Boujenah was the runner up with 603,000 chips. Muel was only at the third rank with only 454,000 chips.

With an unexpected turn of events, Milan left the table first among the three. At the final stage, Boujenah and Muel went heads up, where Muel finally won the championship title of the Euro Finals of Poker 2011 Gold Event. However, Muel and Boujenah shared an equal gain because before the final battle, they made an agreement to receive the same amount of € 65,240 no matter who wins.
