• This concert marks the debuts of both cellist Zuill Bailey and pianist Piers Lane in metro Detroit and on the Chamber Music Society of Detroit series.
• In addition to his extensive touring engagements as concerto soloist with leading orchestras, as recitalist and as collaborative artist, cellist Zuill Bailey is the Artistic Director of El Paso Pro Musica and Artistic Director designate of the Sitka Summer Music Festival and Series (Alaska). His recent recordings have won widespread critical and public acclaim; his most recent, the Complete Bach Cello Suites for Telarc International, debuted on the Classical Billboard chart at No. 2 and remained a top-selling recording for months.
