Online PR News – 19-February-2011 – – The concert is a charity event, which aims to raise money and awareness for the Macmillan Cancer Care centre. York’s Buble concert is scheduled for 12 March 2011, starting at 7:30pm and ending at 11:00pm.

The concert will include a cover of Buble’s top hits, as well as creatively reworked versions of some classic favourites. Tickets are available at a rate of £6.00 per participant.

The event will be held at York’s Joseph Rowntree Theatre, a prominent volunteer arts centre, which caters to local talent, as well as both amateur and professional actors and performers.

Thirty-six year old Michael Buble was born in Burnaby, Canada and has since built a singing, song writing and acting career. Buble focuses mainly on jazz music, traditional pop and songs from the era of big brass bands.

The theatre is conveniently located just one mile from York’s city centre and there is plenty of parking in close proximity to the venue. York’s public transportation service also offers two bus routes that take participants directly to the theatre from the city centre, including bus number 1 on the orange line and bus number 5 on the blue line. The travel time from the city centre takes approximately twenty minutes.
