Young rider scores wins at two stock shows

Marian Amini, a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, is the recipient of a total of $12,000 in scholarships from showing her 12-year-old registered paint horse, Just Plain English, at the San Antonio and Fort Worth stock shows.

Online PR News – 19-February-2011 – – Marian Amini, a junior at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas, is the recipient of a total of $12,000 in scholarships from showing her 12-year-old registered paint horse, Just Plain English, at the San Antonio and Fort Worth stock shows.

Amini, who has been riding for 10 years, won Champion Novice High-Point Youth and was one of the top three youth with the most points in the Paint Horse Show on Feb. 9 at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, for which she received an $8,000 scholarship. Last month, she won Champion High Point Youth 14-18 for a $4,000 scholarship at the Forth Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

A member of the Oak Valley 4-H Club, Amini, 16, will compete next month in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
