IMT Group is aiming towards a more holistic admission process, which is transparent and which also captures the human side of MBA applicants.
IMT Group announced on 16 February 2011, its collaboration with VMock Inc., a Chicago, Illinois based company, which has developed a patent-pending online platform innovation that will help talent short-listing and executive learning and development (ELD) in a unique way.
IMT has plans to apply this technology for the PGDM admissions process for the upcoming academic season.
Dr. Bibek Banerjee, Director of IMT Ghaziabad and Academic Mentor of Group IMT announced the collaboration. Dr. Banerjee is a strong proponent of using technology and believes that the role of B-schools has changed.
Speaking at the occasion Dr. Banerjee said, “The first phase of the partnership will focus on the much debated admission process at B-schools. This technology is going to be more transparent, will create better chances for an equal opportunity to applicants by reducing situational biases and will capture the ‘human side’ of applicants.”
