Online PR News – 16-February-2011 – – Tickets for the festival can be booked online and prices start from $15 per individual event. Tickets are on sale from midday on the day of the event and so guests may only purchase on that day.
Some of the best comedy performers are set to take to the stage during the course of the festival and full listings can be found at the Brisbane Powerhouse website.
Guests staying at Brisbane hotels can look forward to performances from both well-known acts and brand new names, such as George McEnroe, Josh Thomas and Mel Buttle.
The festival will continue with gigs from Josh Earl and Dave O’Neill’s show, Happy to be out of the House. Other hotly anticipated shows include Peter Helliar’s World of Balls, Brisbanetimes.com.au’s Chalkboard, Eddie Ifft’s What Women Don’t Want to Hear and Tom Gleeson’s Up Himself.
As the festival draws to an end, performances from Matthew Kenneally and his Great Escape will be showcased, alongside Dave Thornton’s I Wanna be Bruce Lee and Sam Simmons The Precise History of Things.
