"Fashion Has No Borders's Fashion and Accessory Expose fills the style void left between mainstream and high fashion for fashion-savvy men and women tired of current offerings at the mall," says Jeanne Beker, of Fashion Television and host of the event.

Each ticket purchased also serves a philanthropic purpose, as $2 from each ticket sold will be donated to ONEXONE, raising funds for their First Nation Breakfast Program. This program helps ensure children all start each day with a healthy breakfast, so that they are ready to learn and succeed, because education is essential to stepping out of poverty.

Purchasing tickets in advance has its advantages, since tickets purchased before February 28, 2011 will not only be $8.50 instead of $10 each, but will also be entered to win a $1000 shopping spree, as well as an all-inclusive trip for two, with 7 nights at the Breezes Resort and Spa in Jamaica. Tickets purchased at the door will not be entered into these giveaways.

"As a small business owner and designer who participated in the FHNB Expose, I am thrilled with the results not only at my booth during the expose, but the emails, phone calls, and visits to my store following the event. Any designer or business wanting to profile their company should definitely consider participating in future shows," said Holly Allen, owner of ChiChi Couture.

Even emerging talent from Alberta colleges will be showcased, giving retailers and consumers access to the very newest of Calgary fashion designers. High school field trips to the Expose will receive presentations by fashion industry gurus, and learn more about colleges offering fashion and marketing specialty majors.
