Found in almost every city in the world, beggars fill the streets now more than ever, some have even moved from the streets to cyber begging as online panhandlers. The Online Begging Experience is a fun for those who AintToProudToBeg.

Online PR News – 15-February-2011 – – In this harsh economic climate web creators and other web savvy people are finding creative ways to generate income due to unemployment or underemployment but if you have nothing useful to sell or no capital to invest in a new business venture then alternative forms of income can be difficult to come by and require either a unique skill set or employment by another entity or individual. Unless of course you just beg for money!

We have all seen beggars on the street or pan handlers in the big cities and probably even passed along some money at some point to one of these beggars, well now they are taking to the web and sometimes in pretty creative ways known as cyber begging. Take for instance the website AintToProudToBeg.com who boast the saying “here at AintToProudToBeg we ain’t too proud to beg!”. Ain’t To Proud to Beg is one example of a website geared at creative online begging or pan handling, sometimes referred to as cyber begging or cyber panhandling.

Everyone has probably heard a far fetched excuse from true street beggars at some point or another and at Aint To Proud To Beg the online cyber begging experience isn’t any different. The Aint To Proud to Beg people have created a growing lists of excuses they or other donors have heard from street beggars and pan handlers looking for a hand out. This online beggar website lists the excuses in the form of a question and then a response you might give then beggar. Next to the beggars question and the excuse you can elect to donate to the online beggar via credit card or Paypal. All hand outs are secure through Paypal so there is no danger involved like there might be on the street in a real beggar experience.

We were able to catch up with one of the ‘chief beggars’ from Ain’t To Proud To Beg and ask them what sparked the idea to create the site.

“Well we’re by no means homeless or out on the street or anything but times are definitely tighter these days and so we thought it would be kind of fun to create a site like this and see what happens, its more of a social experiment that anything else I suppose. We wanted to name the website after the old song Ain’t Too Proud To Beg because we thought the title fit our mood pretty well but we had to settle for the grammatically incorrect version Ain’tToProudToBeg because the other domain was taken. We just enjoy coming up with excuses people might hear and have heard and if you want to Paypal us a dollar or something than we appreciate it!”

Beyond just being a fun site to visit and read through the Aint To Proud To Beg team also donates a significant portion of all donations to real charities geared at providing food to the less fortunate. Also, if any one of the team encounters a real street beggar who hits on one of the excuses found on the site then all the donations made to that particular excuse the previous week go to that real street beggar!

Ain’t To Proud To Beg might be look into where begging is headed in this rapidly shrinking world that is the result of the internet. If you have an internet connection and a bank account then online begging might be a way to bring in some extra change… that is if you ain’t too proud to beg!
