– Catch performances by Britain’s future star performers in Bath

Bath will be the host of a major festival that is likely to include performances from some of the country’s potential acting and music stars of tomorrow can report

Online PR News – 07-February-2011 – – Over two weeks from 5th to 19th March 2011, the Mid Somerset Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the UK and the heritage of the event attracts many of the finest young actors and musicians. Established in 1902 the show mixes drama and music classes with performances at many of Bath’s key cultural attractions including the Roman Baths and the banqueting room at the Guildhall.

Week one features classes taught by experts in drama and speech who will be helping students with recitals and acting techniques. In the second week workshops are to be conducted using all manner of instruments where beginners can learn to play instruments such as the piano, saxophone or even the harp.

The festival also represents the chance for more experienced players and singers to showcase their talent at a number of public concerts and specialist competitions. Visitors staying in a hotel Bath can attend some of the concerts for free while tickets for some of the main features will need to be purchased in advance.
