Best-selling community and agri-hood in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic reports 56% sales increase
Online PR News – 17-January-2018 – Ashburn, Virginia – Willowsford, a new home community in Loudoun County, has gained national recognition for its unique agri-hood and farm-to-table lifestyle. RCLCO Real Estate Advisors just released a national report that lists Willowsford as 18th in the nation as a top-selling master-planned community. Willowsford is the only northeastern or Mid-Atlantic community to make the top 20. Formerly Robert Charles Lesser & Company, RCLCO is known as a national real estate advisory and consulting firm that provides and leverages quantitative analytics. The report, Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities in 2017, lists the top 50 best-selling master-planned communities in the U.S. Sales at Willowsford for 2017 were up 56% from 2016 with sales of more than 473 homes.
“It’s been six years since Willowsford first opened and the community has certainly hit its stride,” said Stacey Kessinger, vice president of marketing at Willowsford. At the end of 2016, Willowsford was ranked 45 on this list, then moved up to 21st and is now in 18th position. “Buyers are learning what we’ve known all this time—that Willowsford is a remarkable community with a distinct sense of place, and unique amenities that all contribute to an enriched lifestyle,” Kessinger added.
It’s particularly noteworthy too that Willowsford achieved this as a single-family community. Most of the other top 20 communities have townhouses and condominiums included. Communities with a varied product mix (towns, single-family and condos) are more likely to have a greater number of sales.
Willowsford serves as a national model for the successful creation of a neighborhood that is much more than just beautiful homes. It is a community dedicated to innovation and authentic daily experiences that provides a true sense of home and of place. The community is comprised of more than 4,000 acres with 2,000+ acres in open space—a natural environment that is rare for new communities. From the award-winning home designs (created just for Willowsford) to a portfolio of amenities including a 300-acre working farm and a farm-to-table culinary program with a culinary director, pop-up restaurants, visiting chefs, a farm market; to more than 40 miles of trails and active outdoor programming; and additional amenities including resort-style pools, demonstration kitchens, 7-acre lake, fitness centers, and more—all built upfront. Willowsford has created a lifestyle experience and setting that few other communities offer.
“We continue to hear great feedback from our buyers as to how much Willowsford promises and delivers on its promises,” added Kessinger. “This is where families, young professionals and empty nesters are buying because Willowsford is so much more than our homes—it’s a lifestyle and life experience.”
