Online PR News – 15-January-2018 – Mumbai – “Save Me- Blood Donation Camp" organising by Rehbar Foundation in associate with Safal Group on 19th January 2017, in the eastern suburb, Mumbai

Every year our nation requires about 5 Crore units of blood, out of which barely half is available, to reduce this gap, The Rehbar Foundation is taking a small step by organizing 'Save Me- Blood Donation Camp' in association with Safal Group.

Chairperson, Rehbar Foundation remarked “Rehbar Foundation is contributing to education and other social sectors since a long time. Now educating people and spreading the awareness about blood donation is a very big need of the time, after all, this is a life-saving process.” He added, “People often have this misconception that it is harmful to them, when it is completely safe and in fact it benefits the donors too”.
“It is sad that a lot of capable donors do not donate their blood on a regular basis. It is also commendable that there are young people stepping forward and donating their blood, however, I strongly urge you all to make this a habit rather than doing it just once. It takes only 24-48 hours for an average person to replenish the lost volume” said Sanjay Vinod Asrani – Founder and ChairmanSafal Group.

The camp will be organised under the supervision of Meenatai Thackeray Blood Bank. There will be in total five blood donation camps at Vashi Naka Chembur, Govandi Station, Mankhrud and Cheeta Camp and Trombay. Interested donors can register on https://www.facebook.com/events/214268762477822/
Kindly get your friends and family too for this noble cause.
