Online PR News – 04-February-2011 – – Columbia, MO â€“ Foundation Recovery Systems is hosting an engineering training for design professionals interested in being introduced to helical foundation systems, helical soil nails and push piers. The training is a 5-hour presentation being held at the Columbia Country Club in Columbia, MO on April 13; and at the Hilton Garden Inn in Independence, MO on April 14.
This seminar begins at 8:30 a.m., but attendees can arrive anytime after 8:00 a.m. -- when doors open. The class lasts until 5:30 p.m. All those interested are required to register by April 1, 2011.
During this time all attendees will have the opportunity to gain 5 hours worth of professional development hours, will receive a completion certificate, and will gain knowledge about: helical foundation systems, helical soil nails, push pier systems, typical applications, design considerations, capacity calculations, verification of capacity, and load testing.
The class will be organized and lead by two Foundation Supportworks engineers; Jeff Kortan, PE and Don Deardorff, PE.
