MEETING OF ITS DALLAS CHAPTER ON FEBRUARY 9, 2011 AT TOWER CLUB
Pastor Stephen Broden to Deliver Keynote Address

On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, members of the Dallas Chapter will welcome Stephen Broden, founder and senior pastor of Fair Park Bible Fellowship, who will deliver the keynote address at the event. About Pastor Stephen Broden, Keynote Speaker
Pastor Broden is an accomplished businessman, television and radio commentator, former professor and political activist. In 1987, he founded the Fair Park Bible Fellowship Church, where he has since served as Senior Pastor. He also served as President of the Fair Park Friendship Center for over 18 years and as its Executive Director for over 11 years.
In 2010, Stephen Broden was a Republican political candidate from the state of Texas in the 30th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives. He was awarded “Champion of the Republican Party” by the NRCC Business Advisory Council of Texas in 2005, as well as the Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award that same year. The NRCC bestowed Congressional Medals of Distinction on Broden in recognition of outstanding meritorious service.
Pastor Broden is a frequent speaker for the Tea Party movement, has been a recurring political commentator on FOX News Channel, and is self-described as “pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, pro-2nd Amendment and pro-free enterprise.” Broden graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned both a Bachelor and a Master of Arts degree, and later studied at the Dallas Theological Seminary where he received a Master of Arts degree in Bible Studies. From 1990-1992, he served as an Adjunct Professor at Dallas Baptist University and spent 10 years in the private sector as a business executive and small business owner. Currently, he co-hosts a radio talk show called “Life and Liberty” on KSKY, 660 AM in Dallas; and as a radio broadcaster of one-minute “thought of the day” commentaries aired on that station.
