Five Star Phuket Resort, Andara, Acquires Two New Superyachts

To truly underline the five-star Andara Residential Resort facilities, developer Allan Zeman has acquired not one,
but two magnificent superyachts for the use of Andara property owners and members of the public who wish to experience the Andara lifestyle

Online PR News – 28-April-2009 – – The superyachts are an addition to an already impressive portfolio of leisure amenities at the five-star Andara. Residential Resort, the flagship property of the Andara brand, consisting of 26 palatial villas and 37 luxury apartments. Andara sales and marketing director Jonathan James Gascoyne described the superyachts as: “the final signature to our lifestyle product for Andara villas and residences.”

Perfecting Superyachts

The “Baglietto” yachts, both with twin Caterpillar engines, were recently completely refurbished up to the Andara standards for style and comfort. Andara’s architect team created the superb interior designs, styled with chic interior finishings making use of a range of luxury products and plush Sunbrella upholstery.

The resort’s brand name Andara translates as the Andaman Star. Refitted with white ash, Andara is 28 metres long and she has four deluxe cabins. Her bigger sister Chandara, Andaman Moon, is refitted with white oak and stretches for 33 metres, boasting five generous cabins. Both yachts feature spacious saloons, shaded decks, superlative audio-visual equipment, fully-equipped galleys and professional crew to cater to your every need.

Glamorous Destinations

The charters present a great range of half, full-day, overnight packages aboard the spectacular superyachts. A half-day jaunt around scenic Phang Nga Bay takes in famous James Bond Island and the curious Hong Island caves.
A full-day trip also cruises through Phang Nga Bay to picturesque Krabi and the Phi Phi Islands. This could also be enjoyed at a more relaxed pace as an overnight trip which would then cruise further south to the stunning Koh Lanta archipelago.
Longer charters include excursions to Langkawi, the Surin Islands and the spectacular Similan Islands, rated as one of the worlds top ten global dive locations. Jonathan recommends the Similan Islands trip over a period of three to four nights, although it can be done in two nights. “On a longer trip you could continue up to the Burma Straits which would take in famous dive sites such as Koh Tachai, Richelieu
Rock and Koh Bon which is particularly exceptional for diving and snorkeling.”

All Inclusive

While onboard Andara or Chandara your every need will be catered to from five-star food and beverages to state of the art equipment for enjoying the wondrous marine playground that surrounds you. The catering menus will be created by the Andara restaurants according to guests’ personal requirements and requests.

Charter rates are all-encompassing,including all food and beverages, full use of on-board snorkelling, fishing and leisure equipment, all insurance and National Marine Park fees and return transportation from Andara to Yacht Haven Marina. Here the yachts are moored, until high-season when they will be moved to Kamala Bay right in front of Andara.

Charters of the magnificent superyacht Andara will be available from April 2009 and Chandara from 1 December 2009 marking the grand opening of Andara Resort and life style complex.
