The Golden Jubilee celebrations for Bharat Vikas Parishadâ€™s National Group Song Competition(NGSC) 2017 of Patriotic Songs, had a glorious finale.
Online PR News – 12-December-2017 – Delhi – The Golden Jubilee celebrations for Bharat Vikas Parishadâ€™s National Group Song Competition(NGSC) 2017 of Patriotic Songs, had a glorious finale today with the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind Jiâ€™s closing remarks and Prize Distribution ceremony. The final lap of the programme that witnessed participation of over 5,00,000 students from 50,000 schools across the country.
Bharat Vikas Parishad is a service-cum-sanskar oriented, non-political, socio-cultural voluntary organization. Since its inception in 1963, it is dedicated to the development and growth of the country in all fields of human endeavour - cultural, social, academic, moral, national and spiritual - by promoting a sense of patriotism, national unity and integrity.

Since 1967, Bharat Vikas Parishad has been organising National Group Song Competition(NGSC) of patriotic songs among school children at Branch, State, Region and finally National levels, where a large number of students from different strata of society come together for the NGSC where the focus is on inculcating patriotic values amongst the young impressionable children.
â€śA large part of Bharat Vikas Parishadâ€™s Educational Development Programmes focus on inculcating the feeling of respect, patriotism and moral/cultural values in the students and youth. We are happy that our efforts to promote patriotism amongst the young of today is now bearing fruit with the huge numbers that participate in NGSC today. This year, on the 50th anniversary of the beginning of NGSC, the competition witnessed over 50,000 schools participating at the branch level, wherein 1350 schools went up to the Prant(state) level. 70 of these were then selected for Regional level and finally the top 7 came to the national level. The finalists at the national level were teams from Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Fazilka, from Punjab South, Sushila Inter College Ghaziabad from Western UP, DPS Kalinga from Orissa, DPS Bilaspur from Chattisgarh, DAV Public School, Panvel, Raigad from Kokan, Sheishank, Sheitam, Shanglen, Imphal from Manipur and DAV School Chennai from Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
