Platinum Selling Rock Star Anand Bhatt is Collaborating with Top Vietnamese Recording Artists

On his current trip to Vietnam, Anand’s plan is to focus on doing duo/collaboration tracks with artists Suboi and Ha Okio. The plan is to release songs this year and present them for 2012 Grammy consideration.

Anand Bhatt comments, “The Vietnamese scene has some really amazing talent that are a pleasure to work with, and now’s the time to let the rest of the world know about it. I’m quite excited about these projects.”

Anand will return to the U.S. in time for the Grammy Awards in February and will immediately begin work in Austin, TX on a new acoustic album and SXSW.

Apart from being seen on television, Anand Bhatt is most well-known for his music as both a solo artist and the front man for the hardcore band Anand Clique. He is also the first Indian-American to be inducted into the Latin Grammys. Recent albums have gone multi-platinum in Sweden and gold in Spain.

Ha Okio is a Vietnamese recording artist, musician, producer and actor. The video for his song "Tung Bay" has received many views and remains popular. His song "Phố " (The City) is a number 1 hit on the XoneFm Vina-10 chart. Ha Okio recently starred as Bob Cratchit in "A Christmas Carol - A New Musical."

Suboi is a Vietnamese Hip-Hop and RnB Star. Starting from a background in nu-metal, she branched out into her current popular style. As a major pop star, Suboi can be seen numerous times on Vietnamese television and has performed at the major festivals in Ho Chi Minh City. Her album “Walk” is currently in stores.
