Online PR News – 31-January-2016 – Manhattan, New York – Ivan Medina Castro was born in Mexico City. He holds a degree in International Relations from Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). He has attended various workshops and literary courses: in SOGEM Writers’ School and at the Reading Center Condesa, as well as a diploma in Critical and Creative Writing at the House of the Humanities at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has contributed to numerous publications in literary magazines in Mexico and abroad: Opción, Ágora, Punto de Partida and Tierra Adentro in México and, Avispa (Argentina), Cañasanta (Canadá), Letras Uruguay (Uruguay), Revista de Literatura Mexicana Contemporánea (EUA) among others, as well as several anthologies: “Cuentos del Sótano”, “Leer el cuento” (México), “I Certamen de Relatos HellinFilm (España), “Palacios de Hipnos” (Argentina) and “Santa Muerte” (Estados Unidos), etc.
