The SASH Program Recently Hosted their 6th Annual Spring Luncheon for the Senior Care Community at Wesley Homes in Des Moines, WA. The SASH Spring Luncheon was a Benefit Event for the Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program, and an Opportunity to Strengthen the Network of the Elder Care Community in the Greater Puget Sound, WA Area:
Online PR News – 18-May-2011 – – Attended by more than 130 elder care providers, The SASH Program's 2011 Spring Luncheon raised over $2,000 for the Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program, a service that delivers thousands of meals each week to home-bound seniors throughout the greater King County, WA area.
The SASH Program was founded in 2005 by Rebecca Bomann, a real estate professional with a background in social work, after helping her own Grandfather to sell his home. Ms. Bomann thought there should be a less stressful and more dignified way for seniors to sell their homes.
SASH offers seniors a private and custom-designed home sale option, allowing them to bypass the stress and unknowns of a conventional market sale. Each senior client is treated with respect and dignity as evidenced by SASH's A+ BBB rating.
“Since 2006, SASH has hosted over 225 events for the elder care community, including six annual luncheons benefitting seniors in need,” stated Ms. Bomann. “Our Spring Luncheon and Coffee Time events follow SASH's commitment to providing opportunities for connection and teamwork among senior care providers. That ultimately benefits each of our senior clients.”
Ms. Bomann went on to say, “The luncheon is a favorite in the local community because of the beautiful setting at Wesley Homes, the excellent food that is prepared by Chef Chalfant, and the chance to support such a worthy cause as the Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program.”
“I cannot thank SASH enough for what they do for our program,” said Dale Hoover of the Senior Services Meals on Wheels Program. “Aside from the money raised, Senior Services Meals on Wheels is able to tell our story through SASH, and enlighten people who work in the elder care community. This opportunity you cannot purchase, but through SASH’s kindness they have taken us farther in recognition than paid advertisements could ever accomplish.”
“We love hosting the annual Spring Luncheon with SASH, because everyone is so energetic and eager to get together,” said Christine Tremain, V.P. of Marketing for Wesley Homes. “This event has more smiles, laughs and hugs than any other networking event I attend. Wesley Homes is honored to partner with SASH in hosting the Spring Luncheon, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come.”
