Project Self-Sufficiency assists low-income, single parents in their efforts to build and maintain strong, healthy families; achieve economic independence; and become free from community and government assistance. To help these single parents, Comfort Inn created goodie bags for 200 single parents in the PS-S program. These goodie bags were comprised of various toiletry items, among other items.

“A Night To Remember – A Benefit for Ben and Valerie Yarbro” took place March 29 to fundraise for Valerie Yarbro, local woman affected by the Windsor Tornado last May and now dealing with stage four cancer. The Comfort Inn donated multiple complimentary hotel stays to the silent auction.
