A Look Inside of a Black Friday Pro’s Shopping Strategy…

First, she makes a list of gifts she will buy for everyone in the family — then begins scoping out deals on the internet by searching in Google for keywords. To seek out added deals, she collects flyers and visits Black Friday websites to see what additional deals exists.

The entire extended family gets involved. The ‘rule’ in the family is that everyone must have their Christmas wish list exchanged by Thanksgiving so that they can take advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

She and her husband then devise a shopping game plan. Her husband hits the streets to buy the items that must be purchased in stores and she makes the online purchases at home while the triplets are still asleep.

Anatomy of a Black Friday Announcement

1. Use keywords that your target audience will be searching for in your title along with terms like “Black Friday.” Be sure that your title has a news angle!

2. Include the details of the sale, including specific details of your Black Friday offer, the start and end time of the sale, any restrictions, and a link to purchase.

3. Include images of the products in your press release. Images capture attention. When you upload your images, be sure to use a keyword for the file name and also for the “alt” description. Many times, people search Google Images and having your images optimized for search can drive traffic straight to your press release.
